Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine softened unsalted butter, white miso paste, brown sugar, grated fresh ginger, minced garlic, and chopped green onions. Mix until smooth.
  2. Spread the prepared miso butter evenly across the top of each salmon fillet.
  3. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place salmon in a greased baking dish and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until opaque. Broil for 1-2 minutes for caramelization.
  4. For air fryer, preheat to 400°F (200°C). Line the basket with parchment, arrange the salmon, and cook for 9-10 minutes.
  5. Transfer cooked salmon to a serving platter, drizzle remaining miso butter, garnish, and serve with steamed rice.
