- In a medium bowl, combine softened unsalted butter, white miso paste, brown sugar, grated fresh ginger, minced garlic, and chopped green onions. Mix until smooth.
- Spread the prepared miso butter evenly across the top of each salmon fillet.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place salmon in a greased baking dish and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until opaque. Broil for 1-2 minutes for caramelization.
- For air fryer, preheat to 400°F (200°C). Line the basket with parchment, arrange the salmon, and cook for 9-10 minutes.
- Transfer cooked salmon to a serving platter, drizzle remaining miso butter, garnish, and serve with steamed rice.
