  • 12 rolls Hawaiian rolls Substitute with dinner rolls or mini brioche buns if needed.
  • 1 pound roast beef Opt for shaved or thinly sliced for the best texture.
  • 6 slices provolone cheese Can be swapped for mozzarella or cheddar.
For the Horseradish Sauce
  • ½ cup mayonnaise Consider low-fat mayo for a lighter alternative.
  • ½ cup sour cream Greek yogurt works well as a healthier substitute.
  • 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish Adjust to your heat preference.
  • 2 tablespoons green onions Chives can be used as an alternative.
For Assembly & Flavor
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter Feel free to replace with olive oil for a non-dairy option.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, prepared horseradish, and chopped green onions. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally and place the bottom half on the baking sheet. Spread half of the horseradish mixture over the bottom rolls.
  4. Layer the roast beef evenly on top of the horseradish-covered rolls. Then layer provolone cheese on top of the beef.
  5. Spread remaining horseradish mixture on the top half of the rolls and place it on top of the cheese.
  6. Melt unsalted butter and mix with minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and wholegrain mustard. Brush this mixture over the assembled sliders.
  7. Sprinkle poppy seeds on top and cover loosely with foil. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven, cool slightly, and cut into individual sliders before serving warm.
