Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Brown the Meat: In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for 6-8 minutes, stirring frequently, until the beef is browned and no longer pink.
  2. Drain Grease: Once the beef is browned, carefully drain any excess grease from the skillet.
  3. Combine Ingredients: Transfer the drained ground beef into your slow cooker. Add in the tomato sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, prepared mustard, smoked paprika, along with salt and pepper to taste. Stir well to combine all ingredients evenly.
  4. Slow Cook: Securely cover the slow cooker with its lid and set it to cook on HIGH for 3 hours or on LOW for 6 hours.
