Preparation Steps
- In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, mustard, and dried dill. Stir well and refrigerate until ready.
- Melt 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter in a skillet over medium heat, add sliced onions and salt, stir for 5-7 minutes until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- Add another tablespoon of butter to the same skillet, pour in beaten eggs, and scramble for 3-4 minutes until just set.
- In a mixing bowl, toss the shaved steak with Worcestershire sauce and Montreal steak seasoning.
- Cook the seasoned steak in the skillet with the last tablespoon of butter for 3-5 minutes, then return the onions to the skillet and top each portion with cheese.
- Toast the bagels until golden brown.
- Assemble the sandwich by spreading sauce on each bagel half, adding eggs, steak, cheese, and onions, then topping with the other half.
- Serve hot with fresh fruit or a salad on the side.
