Ingredients
  

For the Kebab Skewers
  • 1 pound Shrimp, peeled and deveined fresh or frozen
  • 8 ounces Chorizo, sliced spicy or mild
  • 2 cups Bell Peppers, sliced various colors
For the Marinade
  • ¼ cup Olive Oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Chili Powder
  • 1 large Lemon Juice
For Assembly
  • 8-10 pieces Wooden Skewers soaked in water for 30 minutes

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, chili powder, and lemon juice. Whisk until well blended.
  2. Add shrimp, chorizo, and bell peppers to the marinade. Cover and marinate for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Thread marinated shrimp, chorizo, and bell peppers onto soaked skewers.
  5. Preheat grill to medium-high heat (375°F to 400°F).
  6. Place skewers on the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until shrimp are opaque.
  7. Remove kebabs from grill, rest for a minute, then serve immediately.
