- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Season pork chops with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and brown the chops for 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Add sliced onions and minced garlic to the skillet, sauté for 3-4 minutes. Stir in flour for 1 minute, then gradually whisk in milk and broth until thickened, about 4-5 minutes.
- In a greased baking dish, layer half of the potatoes, half of the sauce, and half of the cheese. Repeat layers.
