Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Peel and cube sweet potatoes, then boil until fork-tender. Drain and mash until smooth.
  2. Mix mashed sweet potatoes with yeast, melted butter, sugar, and salt. Gradually add flour to form a sticky dough.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8 to 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Allow the dough to rise in a warm area for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
  5. Punch down the risen dough, divide, and shape into rolls. Place in a greased baking dish.
  6. Cover and let the rolls rise for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  7. Bake the rolls for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly, brush with melted butter, and serve warm.
