  • 4 cloves Garlic or use garlic powder
For the Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Extra-Virgin Olive Oil can use a neutral oil if needed
  • 1 jar Spicy Arrabbiata Pasta Sauce or another spicy tomato sauce
For the Protein
  • 1 pound Raw Large Shrimp thaw frozen shrimp if needed
For the Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley can substitute with basil or omit
  • ¼ cup Grated Parmesan optional or use nutritional yeast

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve half a cup of pasta water and drain the spaghetti.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté chopped broccoli and bell pepper for about 2 minutes until slightly softened.
  3. Add minced shallots and sauté for 3 minutes until translucent, then add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  4. Pour in spicy arrabbiata sauce, stir to combine and bring to a gentle boil for about 2 minutes.
  5. Add raw shrimp, stirring to coat in sauce, and simmer for about 5 minutes until shrimp are pink and opaque.
  6. Combine cooked pasta with the skillet mixture, tossing gently and adding reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
  7. Plate the pasta and garnish with parsley and grated Parmesan. Serve hot and enjoy!
