Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Wash strawberries thoroughly under cold water and pat dry. Slice off the tops to create a stable base and arrange them on a serving dish.
  2. Knead black food coloring gel into half of the white fondant until consistent in color. Set aside for decorating.
  3. Dust the work surface with powdered icing sugar and roll out both fondants until ⅛ inch thick.
  4. Cut small ovals from the black fondant for mouths and triangles from the white fondant for teeth.
  5. Use a small amount of water to attach the white triangles to the black ovals, then secure the mouths to the strawberries with white icing. Add candy eyes.
