- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 2 ½ cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and ½ teaspoon of salt. In another bowl, cream together 1 cup of softened unsalted butter, ¾ cup of brown sugar, and ½ cup of granulated sugar until smooth.
- Beat in 2 large eggs and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until combined. Fold in 1 ½ cups of chocolate chips.
