- Combine ½ cup sugar, ½ cup water, and 4 sprigs of fresh thyme in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves (about 5 minutes). Cool and strain out thyme.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 tablespoons of smooth fig jam, 2 ounces of botanical gin, 1 ounce of freshly squeezed lemon juice, and 1 ounce of thyme syrup. Shake well for 10-15 seconds.
- Fill glasses with clear ice cubes. Strain the punch base into each glass.
