Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a small saucepan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add 1 cup of pearl couscous and toast for about 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently until golden.
  2. Carefully pour in 1¾ cups of broth, stir briefly, and bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer undisturbed for 15 minutes.
  4. Turn off heat, fluff with a fork, and add lemon juice, olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and fresh herbs. Stir well.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  6. Serve warm or let cool for a refreshing grain salad.
